The Pediatric Neurological Rehabilitation Research Clinic provides an evidence-based framework to develop and evaluate electrophysiological tools to monitor children with a range of brain injuries and neurological conditions. The studies focus on clinical correlates of different medical treatments on electrophysiological measures (EEG and EMG), as well as the applicability of neuromodulative surgical treatments in patients with dyskinetic cerebral palsy and the rehabilitation of neuromuscular disorders in the era of new genetic therapies. Exploring the potential of using machine learning techniques for big data analysis in searching for patterns that can serve for the classification of patient progress and responses to different therapeutic interventions is also of interest.
