The occupational therapists focus on fine motor skills that promote a child’s independent functioning by equipping the children with the age-appropriate skills necessary for capably coping with the routine demands of activities of daily living outside the hospital.
Only a portion of each child’s care is reimbursed by the Israeli health funds or other referring agencies. The average forecasted “gap” per occupational therapy treatment session for 2023 is $30.
On average, there are 50 occupational therapy treatments per day.
