Multidisciplinary clinic for the treatment of developmental, functional and medical problems caused by Cerebral Palsy.

On a visit to the multidisciplinary clinic, the patient passes several assessment stations. At the end of the day the treatment team have a joint meeting and discuss each patient in depth. A report is sent to the family with a summary of the discussion and the detailed recommendations. For Arabic-speaking families, the reco splints mmendations of the report are translated into Arabic alongside the report in Hebrew.
What are the services provided by the CP clinic?
- A general, medical and functional evaluation.
- An assessment of the motor system - the musculoskeletal system.
- If needed, provision for a walking device, foot support and an evaluation if required for a surgical intervention to improve walking function and prevent complications.
- Assessment of functional ability and strength. Assessment of joint stiffness, stability and gait.
- Assessment of day to day functioning Adapted seating and mobility, splints and all the equipment required to help at home and at school, assessment of upper limb function, adaptive use of a computer and accompanying equipment.
- Empowerment vis a vis utilizing community services
