ALYN Wheels of Love

 

 

The Road groups will stay EVERY night in the luxurious Galilion Hotel. The Galilion is a beautiful hotel directly opposite the Hula Valley Nature Reserve. The food is extraordinary, as are the spa and other facilities. 

 

The Off-Road Groups will return to the Village Hotel in Sde Nechamia, EVERY night. The pastoral setting has rooms spread out amongst the grounds with ample areas for sitting outside and relaxing under the stars.  We think Sde Nechamia will be perfect for the off-road groups. Since there is a price differential between the two hotels, we are reducing the off-road registration fee by $150. 

 

 

We are planning the Road routes on and around the Golan. If weather permits, Plus and Challenge will ride to the peak of the Hermon, while the Road groups enjoy the magnificent flat vistas and rolling hills from atop the Golan. We will also hope to ride in the Galilee and though the Hula Valley.

 

The tentative plan for Trail and Enduro is to spend at least two days on the Israeli Golan Bike Trail. We hope that Enduro will be able to ride the full 120 km of this epic trail. The Trail group will ride along the same route but at a more relaxed pace covering a shorter distance.

 

 

On Sunday, November 2, we will host a solidarity trip in the North. We won't plan details yet, but it will involve either a visit to a hard-hit community that is rebuilding and/or a visit to a military base to meet some of the heroes who have been defending Israel.

 

 

Everyone on the Touring ride will rent a pedal assist E-bike. You still have to pedal these bikes, you just can go a lot faster and keep up with the Road group during the riding portion of each day. Everyone with an E-bike loved Touring last year! 

 

 

One of our regular riders brought his spouse last year and said to me he was so happy that finally, she could experience the magic of Wheels of Love first-hand. Non-riding spouses will be able to fully participate in all the tours and enjoy the hotel facilities. 

 

Bring Your kids... (16 and over)
 
We want to encourage the next generation of Wheels of Love riders. So if you want to being one (or more) of your kids, the extra fundraising requirement is only $1000. 

 

 

It is my hope that everyone will be able to spend a little time riding with the Swift and the Bold team of kids treated at ALYN.  So many people have told me that this was the highlight of last year's ride.  I'd like everyone to get the full experience of riding alongside these heroes. These kids represent exactly why we do everything we do.

Rental Bikes
 
This year, we will offer a range of top of the line brands such as Bianchi, Trek, and Orbea. We will offer carbon bikes with disk brakes and electronic shifting. Rental will be done through ALYN so we can provide the very best customer service. Why have to deal with packing and shipping your bike when you can have a great model ready for you to ride, for about the same amount as the airlines will charge you for bringing it?
