Our guides

My name is Ben Zaltzman, I’m a tour guide and a hiker in Israel who leads people in a various
amount of trails around the country.

I fell in love with nature at a young age. I was exploring the wide open space of nature, and right away I knew this is the place I belong
to. I specialized in many hiking trails, discovered magical corners in the country, and led people
responsibly and professionally.

The trips I lead are about observing nature, connecting travelers to the environment, its landscapes and its geographical culture.

I’m an expert for long-distance hikes, I hiked for 6 month the Pacific Crest Trail in the US, and have done lots of other journeys in Israel and abroad.

I have lead ALYN groups before and am looking forward to hiking with you under the full moon!

My name is Keren Hanenel, and I’m a hiking guide and outdoor educator with a deep love for Israel’s trails, nature, and people.

For many years, I’ve had the privilege of leading hikes for ALYN Hospital, helping participants connect not only with the land but with a powerful cause. I love creating experiences that are both challenging and meaningful — whether we’re climbing under the stars or pausing to take in the silence of the hills.

I care deeply about the group dynamic, the details, and making sure every person feels safe, encouraged, and inspired by the journey.

When I’m not guiding, I’m usually off exploring new routes, learning something new, or just soaking in the beauty of the outdoors.
