The ALYN Desert Night Hike

 The ALYN 2025 Night Hike

If you've ever embarked on a nighttime hike through the Israeli desert, you know just how breathtaking the experience can be. The full moon casts a luminous glow over the landscape, often making a flashlight unnecessary as the trail unfolds before you. Above, a vast canopy of stars shimmers, creating a magical atmosphere where you can fully embrace the desert’s beauty—without the sweltering heat of the day.

The ALYN 2025 night hike will begin on the night of July 10 and conclude on the morning of July 11.

 Route Description:

🚶‍♂️ Starting Point: At the foot of the ancient Masada Fortress
🌵 Total Distance: Approximately 15 km
🛤️ Trails: Desert trails, including a breathtaking section of the Israel National Trail
🌄 Highlight: Itamar Eliya Lookout – where we will witness the stunning sunrise over the desert hills
🍽️ End of the Hike: A well-deserved breakfast

The route is designed to provide an unforgettable experience of a night in the desert, under a starry sky, without the intense daytime heat.

The most meaningful part of this extraordinary hike is the cause behind it. Each participant will raise or contribute 2,500 NIS, directly supporting the treatment of hundreds of children with physical disabilities at ALYN, Israel’s only hospital exclusively dedicated to the rehabilitation of children facing significant physical challenges.
