Leisure and sports activities combine fun and challenge while developing a sense of ability. Achieving independence in cycling is an important functional goal for children with disabilities.
PELE's team of experts adapts an appropriate method of riding for each child. (Some of the children participate in the hospital's annual bicycle trip).
Some examples of adaptations:
- Handlebar grips for riders with limited ability in their hands.
- Bike stabilization for ascent and descent.
- Adapting bicycles for riders with short arms that cannot reach the handlebars, pedal adjustment, and installing a pedal harness.
Can be ordered through PELE - The cost of the product will be determined based on the user's specific needs.
