Zohar is the head of 'Ma'ayan,' ALYN Hospital's Rehabilitative Equipment Display Center and the Center for Safe Transportation for Children With Special Needs. As a specialist in assistive technology, she works closely within ALYNnovation? to provide assessments and consultations for the adaptation of rehabilitation equipment, such as powered wheelchairs, headrests, and seating systems. Zohar works in cooperation with the Department of Rehabilitation and Mobility Equipment at the Israeli Ministry of Health. She also represents ALYN in counseling to various government ministries, initiating new regulations for the welfare of children.
Zohar is a certified instructor of the Child Passenger Safety from Safe Kids Worldwide. She holds a BA in Occupational Therapy from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Early Childhood Policy and Management from the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
