Dr. Eylon has been a physician at ALYN since 2006 and has served as Head of Pediatric Orthopedic Services since 2013. She is a principal investigator for ALYN PARC, where her research is dedicated to the development and evaluation of clinical assessment tools, including the Children’s Amputation Mobility Predictor. She uses retrospective and prospective methodologies to investigate novel treatments for children diagnosed with a diverse range of pathologies, including cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, brain injury, myelomeningocele, osteogenesis imperfecta, neuromuscular and genetic diseases, congenital deformities, amputations, arthrogryposis, oncological musculoskeletal manifestations, musculoskeletal trauma, and spine disorders.
Dr. Eylon received her MD from the Medical School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem and a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at the Sourasky-Dana Medical Center. Dr. Eylon is a member of the Israel Orthopedic Association (IOA) and the Israel Pediatric Orthopedic Society (IPOS), which she currently chairs. Dr. Eylon is also an active member of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS), the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO).
