Guest Lecturer from Switzerland

In October this year Dr. Sepp Holtz, a specialist in child development and the Director of the Child Development Center of Kinderspital Zurich, was invited by Judy Blinder, an expert on feeding problems and one of Alyn's Speech and Language therapists, to give a guest lecture at Alyn entitled "What Can We Learn From Healthy Children? Variability of Normal Eating Behaviour" .  Judy Blinder met Dr. Holtz a year ago at his Center in Zurich and was very impressed with his approach to the subject of child development. The lecture, attended by Alyn's paramedical and medical staff covered a number of questions relating to eating behaviour in children and to child development and included some lively discussion between Dr. Holtz and his audience!
